June at Old Town Books

June means Summer is here! The heat definitely is!

We have some great book displays and events in the store happening this June.

Please join us every Friday in June at 11 AM for Music in Literature with the San Angelo Symphony. Every Friday in June a symphony member will join us at Old Town Books to demonstrate his or her instrument and read for the kiddos. This is a great way to introduce the little ones to different forms of music while also encouraging reader. We do this in addition to our usual children’s story time every Saturday at 11 AM. Please also join us for a special book signing with Amanda Churchill at 3 PM on Saturday, June 15th. Amanda will be here to sign and discuss her wonderful book The Turtle House (available now).

We have also curated a well-stocked display of books and gifts for Father’s Day (6/16). You can find a full list of available titles below. We also have books celebrating Pride Month, Juneteenth, and Nature Reads.
